By purchasing a ticket and participating in a Workshop, Meet Up or Event, you agree to the following terms and conditions for The Collage Collective.
- Ticketing Policy
- No Refunds: All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
- Ticket Credits: If you provide at least 6 hours’ notice, The Collage Collective are happy to credit your ticket for use at a future workshop. We are not responsible to follow up if you do not attend a workshop or event.
- Event Changes
- The Collage Collective reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, your ticket will be credited for another event date and time.
- Alcohol Policy
- Proof of Age: Participants consuming alcohol must present valid photo identification to confirm they are 18 years or older.
- Responsible Service: We reserve the right to ask participants to stop consuming alcohol to anyone who appears intoxicated, behaves inappropriately, or is deemed at risk of harming themselves or others with workshop materials. Your safety and the safety of all participants are our priority.
- Alcohol is self-provided for enjoyment in a safe and respectful manner. Participants are responsible for drinking responsibly.
- BYO Alcohol: The Collage Collective does not provide alcohol to guests. Participants over the age of 18 are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages to enjoy responsibly during the workshop.
- Light Snacks and Refreshments: We provide light snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments to enhance your experience. However, these are not intended as a substitute for a proper meal before consuming alcohol.
- Responsible Drinking: Participants are expected to consume alcohol responsibly. If you choose not to eat or drink excessively, resulting in intoxication or other adverse effects, The Collage Collective is not liable for any consequences after you leave the event.
- Safety Measures: We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask intoxicated individuals to leave if their behaviour poses a risk to themselves, others, or the workshop environment. This includes misuse of tools or disruptive behaviour. We reserve the right to call emergency services if we deem it is necessary.
- Liability Waiver
- Personal Safety: These workshops involve the use of sharp tools such as x-acto knives and scissors. While every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, The Collage Collective is not legally liable for any injuries sustained during the workshop. Participation is at your own risk.
- Material Usage: Participants must handle all tools and materials responsibly. Please supervise children if they are participating.
- Intellectual Property
- Educational Use Only: The artworks you create during the workshop are for personal use and cannot be reproduced, sold, or distributed commercially. The Collage Collective retains the intellectual property teaching content shared during and after the workshop.
- Liability for Future Use: The Collage Collective is not liable if you are sued for attempting to sell or use derivative works created in this workshop.
- Ownership of Workshop Content: The Collage Collective retains full rights and copyright to all workshop structures, including but not limited to Collage & Cocktails, Advanced Collage Workshop, Matisse Inspired Workshop, and any other branded event concepts or materials. These workshop structures, including their names, formats, and teaching content, are the intellectual property of The Collage Collective and may not be reproduced, replicated, or used for commercial purposes without explicit written permission.
- Social Media Policy
- Photography and Video Content: During the workshop, photos and videos may be taken by The Collage Collective team for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials.
- Release of Permission: By attending the event, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, and any artwork you create being included in such content without compensation or prior notification.
- Opt-Out Option: If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please inform the workshop facilitator before the event begins. While we will make every effort to respect your request, we cannot guarantee exclusion from group photos or wide-angle shots.
- Participant-Shared Content: If you share content from the workshop on your social media, we encourage you to tag and credit The Collage Collective.
- Children’s Participation Policy
- Age Requirement: The Collage Collective workshops are designed for participants aged 7 years and older.
- Parental Supervision: Children under the age of 15 are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times.
- Ticketing for Guardians: Legal guardians accompanying a child must also purchase a ticket and actively participate in the workshop.
- Responsibility Disclaimer: The Collage Collective is not responsible for the supervision, safety, or behaviour of children under the age of 15 during the event. It is the responsibility of the accompanying legal guardian to ensure the child’s safety and adherence to workshop guidelines.
- Change of Venue Policy
- Venue Changes: The Collage Collective reserves the right to change the venue of an event if required due to unforeseen circumstances or operational needs.
- Notification: In the event of a venue change, we will notify participants as soon as possible via the contact information provided at the time of booking.
- Proximity: We will ensure the new venue is as close as possible to the original location to minimise inconvenience.
- Credits and Refunds: If the new venue is not suitable for you, we are happy to credit your ticket for a future event. However, refunds will not be provided.
- Email Marketing Policy
- If you provide your email address when registering for or attending our events, please note the following:
- We will use your email address to send event-related updates, such as booking confirmations and important information about your chosen event.
- You may receive occasional marketing emails about upcoming events, workshops, special offers, and other opportunities we believe you may find interesting.
- Your email address will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
- You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in each email or by contacting us directly.
- We are committed to protecting your personal information and ensuring your preferences are respected.

- Other Applicable Terms
- Code of Conduct: We aim to provide a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment. Any disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the event without a refund.
- Force Majeure: The Collage Collective is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government regulations, or other unforeseeable circumstances.
- Consumer Law: This policy operates within the framework of Australian Consumer Law, which provides certain guarantees that cannot be excluded.
