The Artof Memory & Making is an intimate, hands-on collage art workshop. Over four hours, The Collage Collective invites you to practice mindfulness through journal prompts. This helps reflect and transform memory into collage art. Through photos, stories, and symbols, you’ll explore your own personal archives. You’ll learn how to turn them into powerful collage artworks.
This workshop offers a safe supportive space for self-expression, sharing, and mindful art-making. It is designed to be both creative and contemplative.

✨ What to Expect ✨
✍️ Reflect & Connect: We begin with guided prompts and conversation. This gently invites you to reflect on a memory, feeling, or formative experience. This moment of stillness helps to ground your creative direction.
✂️ Explore & Create: You’ll be introduced to a curated collection of materials. These include vintage magazines, books, found paper, and personal ephemera. Through demonstrations and hands-on guidance, you’ll explore collage techniques like layers, composition, and visual storytelling.
🫶 Share & Celebrate: We’ll close the workshop with a gentle group sharing circle. You’re welcome to talk about your piece (if you’d like). Reflect on your creative journey and celebrate each other’s stories.
